Daily consumption of nuts seems to be a real elixir of long life: thethe Umberto Veronesi Foundation also confirms this in an article reporting a major study published in the New England Journal of Medicine
and conducted over 30 years. From this study it emerges that nuts have cardioprotective, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant functions.
Consuming them leads to a lower risk of type 2 diabetes, colon cancer, hypertension, and “metabolic syndrome”.
